App Engine Manager

Want to manage your Google App Engine applications from your iPhone? There's an app for that.

The App Engine Manger application allows you to to monitor the status of Google App Engine in real time, and estimate your monthly costs based on your current usage levels, and then lets you estimate how much a sudden usage spike could cost.

It also allows you to look at the performance of each of your applications individually and examine requests per second, upload and download bandwidth and CPU.

How does it work

App Engine Status

The status for the various services is indicated by the icon next to the service. Clicking on each service component will provide further information as to the current status of that component, and any problems that it might be experiencing.

Applications Dashboard

The dashboard has four graphs that give you a quick visual reference of your system usage. The information displayed in these graphs gives you a 6 hour snap shot of resource consumption per second. Below the resource consumption graphs the applications usage within your current quota levels is shown.

Resource Calculator

You are presented with a form allowing you to fill in your usage levels. Clicking on the Calculate button will provide an estimate of your total monthly cost based on that usage and current Google pricing levels.
